What is the goal of this program?

Our Nurse - LPN Transitional Track (LPN to RN) program allows students to receive advanced standing in the associate degree nursing program.

Students enter the traditional HACC clinical nursing sequence at NURS

Students enter the traditional HACC clinical nursing sequence at NURS 142 and143 with options to test out of NURS 150, 242, 243, 244.


Am I eligible for this program?

You can take this program if you:

  • Have graduated as a practical nurse.
  • Have a practical nursing license from the PA State Board of Nursing.

 

How do I enroll?

HACC accepts students into advanced standing nursing clinicals based on space availability. HACC encourages all pre-nursing students to meet with campus advisors.

To enroll, you must submit an official transcript to the Records Office. This transcript must show the successful completion of a practical nursing program.
